Randomness

Underneath my top layer of hair it's all afro-y and curly. If I don't blow them down straight (which takes a lot of work!) they stick up. So I rarely pull my hair back cuz they pop out. They're horrible!

And this....house is on the way to riding. Talk about a hillbilly place! In the summer, they all sit under a tree in their yard (what's not pictured) holding a fly swatter. No joke. See the part of the shed on the far left of the picture? Often when we drive by, we see the guy standing in the open doorway, watching us. It's weird.

AWWWW!

OK, I know some of these pictures are fake--but boy are they cute!!!

Friends helping friends

"Yummy!"

"Like my hat?"

OK, the monkey looks like a mirror image of Trevor! (Except cuter....lol)

"YAWN!"

"Who? Me?"

"Say cheese!"

"Maybe they can't see us...."

"Atchoo!"

"Aren't I gorgeous, darling?"

That horse is a horse I used to ride--Buddy. He would seriously smile at my mom's camera! :)

Sports I Have Done Over The Years

Over the past few years I have played certainly my share of different sports. The sport I remember earliest playing was T-Ball. I don't have any pictures of that, but I have pictures of the next sport I did--soccer, which I started in kindergarten. Me in my final season of soccer in Spring 2004. (I'm in the front)

I tried swimming. But I CANNOT I repeat CANNOT swim under water without plugging my nose!!!!

Me and Trevor at YMCA. I had one long ponytail back then in 2003!

I did volley ball with two friends for a week long day camp. I really liked it!--Until the ball banged into my face and after one day my wrists were all red and swollen form bopping the ball around..... I'm on the far right. Look at all the balls laying around. Laying like bombs, waiting to slam into my face! (just joking ya know!)

In 2005 I took a horse back riding day camp. I liked it! And totally fell in love with that horse. Her name was Flash.
Me and Flash. I was almost 11.

A few months after that I joined my friend in figure skating. We were good. Good considering we were only like 11 and 10 and only one of us had lessons! We were doing actual jumps and stuff! I'm the tall one. (Oh, for you who have never met me...I'm tall. 5'6 1/4'' to be exact! Luckily I'm about done growing....)
We couldn't stand this ice rink--but our favorite one closed down. Aren't our costumes great?

Just weeks after that skating pic was taken, that girl moved. I had no one else to skate with and just...stopped. My mom had me back into horse riding. This time a tad more seriously too. I love it!
Me on Eclipse, July 2006.

I started taken private lessons. I switched to an English saddle so I needed English riding clothes. Aren't they cool! They are sooo comfy!!!
Me on Big Mac. One of my first times on English saddle. This was November 1st, 2006. I hair is curly cuz I was a hippie for Halloween. ;) (Peace, man!)

I did dance for a school semester. That was fun!! See the girl on the far right with the head band? I'm the one next to her in glasses.
My dance class right before our recital. We danced to a Rachael Lampa song.

I kept riding until we moved from CO to VA a year ago. It took us awhile to find a new riding place, but once we did I loved it! The place was much more focused on jumping than dressage. My first lesson I was cantering over 2 feet jumps. Which is good since I had barely cantered at the the old place!
Me on Frankly Awesome (AKA Buddy). He was such a dorky horse. I love him!

In August, my parents signed Trevor up for soccer. I was thinking about when I used to play and wanted to do it again--plus everyone I know from church plays on pretty much the same team. Any of you who know me personally know it's not like me to go out and try new stuff. But I asked my mom if I could sign up too. We had practice after practice and then our games. We won all but 2. And only lost 1. We tied one too.
Our team seriously practiced when it was this dark out. My mom took this pic at one of our practices. You couldn't see the ball unless it was right in front of you!

Our team is the Rams. I play defense, sweeper and mid field. We have 13 people on the team--7 boys and 6 girls. I'm the youngest girl....and the second youngest on the team but I am the tallest girl. Thankfully all the guys are taller than me--except one and he is younger so....
Our team had the best defense and goalie in the whole league. I'm the second from the left.

I still ride, but at a different place. This place is jumping too, but they focus on showing and competing.

Me on the Appaloosa gelding, Back In A Flash (AKA Flash), I competed on.

A had my first riding competition early last month. I finished 2nd out of four riders in both divisions. Not that bad if I do say so myself...lol

My ribbons and my number.

So, all of you, what sports have you done?
